Hours

We may alter our closing hours with little or no notice; please call to confirm.

From April 1 to December 24 we're open seven days a week.

During April through June we're open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays 8 to 5 and Sundays 10 to 4.  

From July through October our hours are Monday through Friday  8 AM to 5 PM, Saturdays 8 to 5 and Sundays 10 to 4. We are open on July 4 for limited hours with a limited staff, mostly to water.

During November, Daylight Savings is over and we're open Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM, Saturdays 8 to 4 and Sundays 10 to 4. We are closed on Thanksgiving.

During the Christmas season we are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays 8 to 5 and Sundays 10 to 5. After Dec 15, we may start closing earlier on weekdays. We close early on December 24; please call to confirm hours. We are closed Christmas and New Year's Day and  maintain no regular hours the last week of the year but we're generally here for a portion of every day..

Winter hours are generally Monday through Saturday 10-4, closed Sundays. Our January and February hours are very flexible. If we have to close in the middle of the day, we just put up the closed sign, so call to make sure we're there. March begins loosely and slowly becomes more regular as the weather improves.

Directions

Shrewsbury Nurseries is located on the Westbound side of Route 9 just west of the intersection of Routes 9 and 20. We are at the corner of Route 9 and Walnut Street. The Christmas Tree Shop is across Route 9 from us.

From the East

Via Route 9: Follow Route 9 West. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

Via Route 20: Follow Route 20 West through Northboro to intersection with Route 9. Take Route 9 West. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

Via Mass. Turnpike/I-90: Follow Mass. Turnpike/I-90 West to Exit 11A/I-495. Take I-495 North for one exit. At Exit 23 take Route 9 West. Follow Route 9 West for about six miles. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

From the West

Via Route 9: Follow Route 9 East through Shrewsbury. Just after you pass us take Route 20 East, then immediately get on Route 9 West to reverse direction. We're  the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

Via Route 20: Follow Route 20 East through Shrewsbury to intersection with Route 9. Take Route 9 West. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

Via Mass. Turnpike/I-90: Follow Mass. Turnpike/I-90 East to Exit 11/Millbury. Take Route 122 North towards Worcester for 2 miles to intersection with Route 20. Follow Route 20 East through Shrewsbury to intersection with Route 9. Take Route 9 West. We're the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

From the North

From I-495: Take I-495 South to Route 9. Follow Route 9 West for about six miles. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.

From Route 140: Take Route 140 South through Shrewsbury Center to Route 9. Follow Route 9 East through Shrewsbury. Just after you pass us take Route 20 East, then immediately get on Route 9 West to reverse direction. We're  the first business on your right after you re-enter Shrewsbury.

From Route I-190: Take I-190 to Route 140. Take Route 140 South through Shrewsbury Center to Route 9. Follow Route 9 East through Shrewsbury. Just after you pass us take Route 20 East, then immediately get on Route 9 West to reverse direction. We're  the first business on your right after you re-enter Shrewsbury.

From the South

From Routes 140, 122, 146, I-395: Travel to Route 20. Follow Route 20 East through Shrewsbury to intersection with Route 9. Take Route 9 West. We're just after the intersection with Route 20, the first business on your right after you enter Shrewsbury.
